Please note that the procedure explained in the video is as per the edition of ASME Sec.VIII,Div,2 before 2023. The rules are revised in the latest edition of the code.
The calculations for the factored pressure are as follows.
Factored pressure = design pressure * Phi_B
= 0.10135*2.5 = 0.253 MPa
where
Phi_B = (2/beta_cr) as per 5.4.1.2(a)
= (2/0.8) = 2.5 [beta_cr = 0.8 as per 5.4.1.3(b)]
